Hello everyone,

Today, I like to announce that I am using Printful as a print-on demand service for some of designs for certain products. Print-on demand is more beneficial than traditional inventory holding as it is eco-friendly as it doesn’t produce waste on products that do not sell. I plan to create a lot of designs from memes to different niches like The Backrooms.

This doesn’t mean I plan to switch to a more print-on demand as I plan to hold some inventory for some products. I prefer a hybrid model as I believe it’s a lot more stable than one or the other.

Why Printful

Originally, I was going to choose Printify; however, there was a lot of server errors on their side which prevented the connection between my website and their and after a couple days of going back and fourth and going through community forums for help, I decided it wasn’t going anywhere and decided to look through alternatives. The best thing about Printful is how they do quality checks on their products to ensure the prints come out nicely. Unfortunately, they don’t have that much of a variety compared to Printify.

Future Plans

Currently, their are no proper ways to see if a product is through Printful or through my shop. So, I’ll implement a way to help users tell which products are handled through where.
